            – Ser un burro: Esta expresión indica que la persona realiza las cosas sin pensar en las consecuencias o en el resultado. No piensa lo que hace.

            – Ser una tortuga: En este caso, teniendo en cuenta una de las características principales de las tortugas es su escasa velocidad, por lo que se suele decir que alguien es una tortuga cuando hace las cosas muy lentamente, no solo caminar.

            – Ser la oveja negra: Ser diferente al grupo con el que te relacionas, de amigos o la familia. Normalmente tiene una connotación negativa. En este caso, no debemos ignorar a esa persona por su diferencia. Realmente, ahí está la gracia, que TODOS SOMOS DISTINTOS, dentro de nuestra igualdad. Por lo que hay que respetar a los demás.

            – Ser un cerdo: se atribuye a la persona que no se ducha, tira basura al suelo el mar, que realiza acciones obscenas como eructar en público, etc. En muchas ocasiones, los cerdos son más limpios que las personas.

            – Tener memoria de pez: No acordarse de las cosas en periodos cortos de tiempo, lo que se suele llamar como memoria a corto (muy corto) plazo.

            – Lágrimas de cocodrilo: Acción de llorar de mentira, para conseguir algo o mostrar un falso sentimiento.

            – Oler a tigre: Persona que huele mal o que apesta. Después de realizar ejercicio o simplemente por falta de aseo personal. Aquí se podría decir que esa persona es un cerdo.

            – Ser un loro: Persona que habla muchísimo y casi sin respirar. Una expresión que se suele decir para este tipo de personas es: “hablar poor los codos”.

            – Ser un gallina: Referente a la persona que tiene demasiado miedo por las cosas. También llamada cobarde, ya que no se atreve a muchas cosas por el propio miedo.

               – Ser un burro. To be a donkey: This expression indicates that the person does the things without thinking in the consequences or the results.

            – Ser una tortuga. To be a turtle: In this case, taking into consideration one of the main features of the turtles, their low speed. Therefore, someone is a turtle when they are really slow doing things, not only walking.

            – Ser la oveja negra. To be the black sheep: To be the different person of the group of friends or family. Normally, it has a negative connotation. In this case, we should not ignore that person for their difference. That’s the good point of it, EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT in our equality. So, we need to respect everybody.

            – Ser un cerdo. To be a pig: It is attributed to those people who don’t have a shower, throw trash to the ground or the sea, make obcenes actions like burping in public and so on. So many times, pigs are cleaner than people.

            – Tener memoria de pez. To have fish memory: When someone never remember anything in a short period. It is also called short term memory (really short).

            – Lágrimas de cocodrilo. Crocodile’s tiers: Fake crying in order to achieve something or to show a fake feeling.

            – Oler a tigre. To smell like a tiger: Person with bad smell after exercise or simply, they haven’t been in the shower for a long time. Here, we would say that they are pigs.

            – Ser un loro. To be a parrot: Person who talks too much, almost without breathing. Another expression with the same meaning is “hablar por los codos” that means to talk through the elbows.

            – Ser un gallina. To be a hen: It refers to the person who is so scared about everything. We can translate as a coward. They don’t dare to do anything because of their fear.
